Kara is the Community Director for TYT. She was the Democratic Nominee in the 2nd district of Nebraska in 2018 and 2020. She was publicly elected to the Board of Governors of Metropolitan Community College in Omaha in 2014. Kara holds an MSW from Loyola University of Chicago and has spent more than 20 years in the nonprofit sector focused on social and cause-related marketing and advertising, program development, and fundraising.
Zefrey is an award-winning film director and artist who has shown at Cannes, Tribeca, SXSW, Venice Biennale, MoMA, and The Whitney. Variety said about his last film, “It could be a Martin Scorsese movie. It’s the Wolf of Wall Street meets The Insider.”
Cenk is the CEO and founder of TYT, and co-host of The Young Turks. Cenk Uygur also co-founded the Justice Democrats and is the bestselling author of Justice is Coming. He was recognized by Mediaite on their list of Most Influential in News Media in 2021. Cenk graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and from Columbia Law School.
